What is Malik Day?

On Sunday, July 18th Cypress Meadows Community Church will host a day of fun for under-resourced children from the Safety Harbor/Clearwater area. There will be food and water activities, as well as back-to-school hair cuts and eye exams. Children will also be given back packs and school supplies. This event is free and open to anyone in the community.

This day is call 'Malik Day' in honor of a brother we lost in 2014, Malik Tipsword. This day was his vision, and for so many years he made it all happen.

How can you help?

Volunteering at Malik Day is a great way to make an impact on the future of a child. By sorting supplies you can make sure kids are equipped for school. Barbers/stylists who give free hair cuts make kids feel confident. And folks who help serve lunch or supervise activities ensure that everyone has a safe, but amazing experience.

Volunteers are needed between 12:30 pm and 5 pm on Sunday, July 18.
