1973
Our story began in 1973 when Countryside Chapel first opened its doors in a humble horse stable.

1981
Jump ahead to June 1981: Fresh out of seminary, Douglas Poole and his wife Jacque joined the adventure, teaming up with a group of dreamers in that same converted stable.

1990
We quickly outgrew our stable-turned-church, going through several growth spurts over the years. In 1990, we built a brand-new auditorium — things were getting real!

2016
2016 saw us doubling our main auditorium's size. More room for more friends!

2022
In October 2022, Eric Dunaway rolled into town with his wife Amanda and half their brood (two of their four kids, to be exact).

2023
Fast forward to August 2023: Douglas Poole kicked back into semi-retirement, passing the baton to Pastor Eric as our new Lead Pastor.

2025
What a ride it's been! Together, we've sought God's grace, built a school in Haiti and an orphanage in Kenya, shared laughs and tears, prayed up a storm, and worked to make the world a bit brighter.
Through it all, God has remained incredibly faithful… and we believe the best is yet to come!
